Thread: 4 cyl questions???

Good morning fellow stangers,

So i just purchased a 4 cyl coupe, and just had a few questions any help would be appreciated!!
So i was checking all the fluids on the car the other day and when i went to take the air cleaner apart i noticed there was not a MAF? is that normal... i dont know much about these motors and still need to research as im keeping her a 4 banger for awhile and would like to drive her as that....

next ive been reading about cold air intake or better intake thats on there alot ive read, is to fab one up myself? do they sell a kit???

What year is it? IIRC, the MAF 2.3s had the dual plug head. I may be wrong, I'm more familiar with the 2.3T.

I wouldn't waste time with any mods to it. I don't think you'll even notice 88hp to 89hp in mods. lol

I've allways wondered tho how a TurboCoupe E6 exhaust manifold with a stock T3 would do on a all stock 2.3. Just bolt it on, plumb it straight in the t/b, put a adjustable FPR, and run about 8psi. That would certainly wake it up. 88->120hp, I bet you could feel that!
