I'm hoping to make it. Car has exhaust mostly now, so it'll at least sound good while I run 17.0's all night again.

Does anyone have a coat i can barrow tomorrow. I have a helmate just not a coat. (If i need one under 14 seconds in the vert)

Don't need a fire jacket unless you're running an aftermarket blower, turbo or nitrous. If you are, I have one you could borrow, but I won't be pitted with you guys. Just look for my car (see sig) just north of the snack bar.
You will need a jacket of some kind, though, cause it's going to be damn nippy!.

I think it's 13.49 in a vert no matter what you are running. You will need a roll cage also though, that should match the helmet nicely.

13.99 seconds
- Drive Line Loop with slicks (13.00 with street tires)
- Approved helmet
- Roll bar in convertibles
- SFI seat belts in convertibles
- SFI 3.2A/1 Jacket in vehicles equiped with non-OEM nitrous, turbos or
superchargers
From Bandi's website, although I think it has changed to 13.49 before you need a roll bar in 'verts.Last edited by AlloyGT; 10-01-2009 at 11:54 PM.

Ya i called and it is 13.49 for a roll cage. I thought that is what they told me. What happens if you do go to fast do they kick you out for good and not allowed back to race again or just give you a warning?
Thanks AlloyGt, if i do need it i will try to find you.

I could be wrong, but I believe the threshold for Helmet/Jacket is still 14.00, regardless of the rollcage threshold. But again, I could be wrong. And from what I've seen/heard, if you go too fast in time trials, that is fine, but if you go too fast in eliminations you are done for the night. I don't think they kick you out for GOOD or anything.
But again, I reserve the right to be wrong!

Well with my 10.76 pass and legal to 11.50s, I had no words said to me... NOT one word to me.
But Larry Crispe was at the stop sign and told my buddy Jeff, that "that car cannot go down the track again with that bottle in it or your done for the season and possibly next"
He knew what the car was teched to, but normally they dont really say anything and its up to the racers responsibility. Unless it is 9.99 or faster where you need a NHRA licence...
But I went from 12.28s to 10.76 in one pass...
I would assume at 13.49 you could probably squeek by with a few passes before they realize.
I have a jacket you can borrow. My Dyno is 1320 Foot Long...
