Thread: CC results for Aug. 25

We had a small turn out but a lot of fun. Willy made his 1st trip down the track and just couldn't quit. He made it to the 4th round! Not too bad for not doing the 1320 before. I don't quite remember how far everyone went but I made it to the 3rd round and decided to red light (.010)

As for the best R/T award for this CC. Lee cut a great light at .009 only to come in 2nd to my .006.

My car was in the 12's for the 1st time this year. I don't know how well I really could have ran. On my best run (it is the vid where I am against the red Corvette) I had to lift well before the end and ran a 13.2 @ 88mph. My other elim. run I had to lift too and ran a 12.92 @ 98mph. On my last run, I red light and then missed 2nd gear so that run just plain sucked.

My friend (with the Corvette) had his friend come up too but his car died at the gate with a bad coil. It took quite a while for him to make it in the gate therefore the didn't give him any timed runs. He had a great time but the car ran crappy the whole night.

Everyone, please post up your numbers.

Here's mine...

1st Time Trial = 14.871 @ 95.66 - RT .401 (ouch)
2nd Time Trial = 14.895 @ 96.01 - RT .181 (a little better, but I broke em loose pretty bad).
1st Elim = 14.722 @ 96.46 - RT .419 (ouch again) broke out of a 14.79. I thought that would have been safe. One of these days I'll figure out how fast she actually is. And my RT's MUST get better... dang was I a granny on the line this week.

Congrats on 12's Steve! I had no doubt that beast was capable of em! Dang she's running good, huh?

And congrats again to Willy. What a good night he had! BTW, Willy, I convinced Kim that she needs an AWD car for the winter... I think a WRX might just do... LOL

Nice job guys! I got a 1.54.5 best lap time at MPH today!

Thanks for everyone who showed up to support the club, I had a great time, despite the fact that I tried to skunk Steve on RT but came up a couple of thousandths short.

My runs were as follows:

1st - 12.04 @ 118.28
2nd - 11.86 @ 119.80
3rd - 11.89 @ 119.10
4th - 11.90 @ 119.03

I red lit in the 2nd round,, dont ask by how much,, but I think I left the line on Thursday. Lee
