OK I've been thinking about doing a list like this for a long time, so here goes.

I've made 3 classifications for 3 events.

R-Race
S-Show
C-Cruise

MUST HAVEs
Safety Gear (R)
Cash (Paper Money) (R,S)
Drivers License and Insurance (R,S,C)
Appropriate Gas level (R aprox. 1/4 tank,S enough to get there and home,C full tank)


SHOULD HAVEs
Folding Chairs (R,S)
Spray on Detailer/Wax (S)
Bug B Gone (S,C)
Spare Tire (R,C)
Walkie Talkies/2 way radios (S,C)
Credit/Debit Card (R,S,C)
ColoradoStangs T-Shirt (R,S,C)
Sun Block (R,S,C)
Towel (R)
Window Marker (not shoe polish) (R)
Colorado Stangs Buisiness Cards (R,S,C)

NICE TO HAVEs
Cooler (R,S)
California Duster, or similar product (S,C)
Cell Phone (R,S,C)

A friend with a trailer (R,C)

Camera (Still or Video) (R,S,C)

Please feel free to add anything, I will edit this list until most are content with placement. I find that every time we do an event there is something I wish I would have brought along, or see some one else with and hadn't even thought of.

It took me a little while to figure out what you were trying to convey here Greg but I like this list, it's a good reminder of useful things to bring

I'm thinking when the list is finalized I can make a easier to read format and post it, but for now I'd like to build it up a bit more.

here is one I got a lot of dirty looks for....

a towel for racing so you can wipe the water off your car after it rains. I normally don't care how good the car looks when I'm racing so i never brought one until it sprinkled one time and I couldn't wipe my car off before staging.

first, define "race".

for car shows and umbrella is real handy

IF you are at the CMS show you might want to brings forks.... OR at the minimum get one of Lee's powdercoating business cards.
