Well ive been thinking a lot lately and ive been doing a lot of research, and im thinking about actually going with a 4v instead of a 2v. Ive been reading about the difference in airflow through the 2 different setups and i think ive decided a 4v would suit my needs. Plus i want to run an F1A blower and havent found a single article about running a cog setup on a 2v, and im pretty sure i will need a cog setup with the amount of boost i am expecting. The only deciding factor is whether or not i can find an ecm and harness out of a cobra that i could use in my car but i think i should be able to find the parts or run an aftermarket engine management system. Since there is a lack of articles about 2v to 4v swaps, i think ill write a detailed one when the time comes to start putting the pieces together for the engine. I am still going to continue with the suspension and interior before the engine but im hoping its not too far in the future (Especially with graduation money!) Let me know if anyone has a spare cobra harness or ecm lying around!

I like the idea of a 4V. Have you thought about running a KB or Whipple on it? Might be able to find a used one cheaper than a F1. Also, I'm pretty sure I've seen harnesses on Ebay would work for you. I'll post one up if I see it.

If you go 03-04 route I found both on Ebay. Good luck.

What is your goals? A certain HP?
I think it would be cool to drop a new "coyote" motor in there with some sort of S/C set-up. Haven't seen that yet on a new edge.2011 Shelby GT500

Ive seen a few harnesses on ebay but i havent seen any ecu's. Ive been looking at the FAST system and it seems pretty cool, im going to try to do some research on it and see what it offers. Basically my goal for power would be between 500-600 rwhp on the street, but i want the engine and fuel system to be able to handle well over that on the days i want more haha, ive always wanted a kb, but i love the powerband of centrifugals so i figured i would start with that.
Thanks for finding that computer harness areteracing, i had seen the injector harness but not that computer harness, might have to snatch those before someone else does!

I don't know why you haven't been able to find the info you are looking for but FWIW my buddy had, and is now owned by another local guy, a 2003 Saleen convertible that was putting down 671hp and 705hp with a 50 shot on a 2V with an F1. I think he was just using an 8 rib but he was getting 23 lbs of boost with no issues. It seems that your goal of 500-600+ is attainable with the F1 and the 2V.

What was the damage on the bumper? Curious to know what they couldn't "fix".

did you get the 99-01 bumper for a salvage yard? I saw 2 at the yard in their fenced off area quite some time ago. I got to take some parts from the cars but they were being "saved". I was going to take one of the bumpers (the other was trashed) but I didn't know if it could be repaired.
