Starting to think more in terms of things Mustang lately.. it'll be Bandi season before we know it! Haven't been letting any grass grow under the 12. It now has 20,000 miles on it! It's not a collector car, it's fun to drive, the commute to Longmont really adds up after a while. I'll probably get something a little more fuel efficient to keep the miles down a little more. So I had to replace the MT-82 at about 12K miles. It did not like stickies on the track, at all. The Whipple keeps right on whistling along, no engine issues at all. All the same, I'm thinking quite seriously about putting a built 4r70 in the car, then a forged shortblock. Trying to find out who makes the 4r70 swap kit right now, I've seen one online but am drawing a blank.. anybody? Then probably the MMR 1000 shortblock, ported heads, Aeromotive in-tank return system. It's all just thoughts right now, but will update this thread when anything happens.

Forgot about this post, a few different things are on the way so time for an update. Put in a Boss 302 clutch last week, feels grippier but still low effort and drives nice. JHR clutch line to replace the stock piece of plastic. Barton 2-post shifter bracket, Stiffler's driveshaft loop. RPM rollbar is on the way from Oregon, it comes fully painted and is hopefully a drop and drill type install. Drilling holes.. don't really like it but what do you do. I'm still short steel valve stems and the brand new Boss flywheel is not sfi, whoops. Stupid rules. I recently changed the gears from 3.73 back to 3.55 and saw 30mpg at 70mph. But who drives that slow..
