Good luck Matt, just keep us updated, I like how you just jump right in and do things yourself on your race car.

Bondo time! Can't remember if you said, did you just buy a kit for the cage or have it bent?

I don't have a new cage yet for it... I am debating on buying a bender and a nice notcher and making it my self versus buying a wolfe cage.
And no bondo will be needed... I will simply weld the top back on and put the trim pieces on and put lexan back in it, and nobody will know that I had the roof off.My Dyno is 1320 Foot Long...

25.3 isn't a whole lot more work than 25.5 so thats what it'll end up as.
Been building a solid works sketch of the chassis but it's gonna take a while. My Dyno is 1320 Foot Long...

If it runs this summer it will most likey have a stock 302 in it. Or if I find 15 grand somewhere itll be with the dart block setup I'm gonna build haha.
I prolly. Won't even finish the chassis til mid June/July.My Dyno is 1320 Foot Long...

Where the plates are, it will be a bolted flange with 4 bolts per side... just didn't show that in the drawing. I am still learning solidworks, this is my first big project on it, every other time its been build something super simple. So not everything is perfect but it will be a good model of what I am going to be building. All bends have been "bent" with a 6.5" radius as thats what a standard die is too.
