Flooding in Steamboat
Looks like it's a little more than usual. I think someone mentioned it in another thread, but if you're at the campground or river side hotel you might check with them.

Final payment on our condo was due last Thursday, so I callled the fire department and the city managers office. Both confirmed that the campground might have problems, but the tennis meadows lot and the downtown area are on higher ground and would be dry. The Steamboat Inn hotel is as we drive into steamboat on the right side of the highway, and it is in a low area.
Again, if you have any questions about your lodging, call them directly. I'm sure that there are enough of us in condos that an extra sleeper sofa or two is available for those who have problems.

On another weather note, for those who will be driving up the poudre, my neighbor reported that the cut that the plows have made through the sonw have left an 8 foot cut of snow at the shoulders of the highway at Cameron Pass. He had just come over last Wendsday, and fortunately the road was dry at that time.

Getting worse. Sounds like the campground west of town is cancelling reservations.

Looks like it's gone down a bit for now, but they're calling for more warm weather this week and it sounds like it will come back up.
