I watched my videos of my runs and on my 3rd run (I think it was my 3rd), the guy hands me my sticky with my time and said "46.202" but my slip didn't say that. Wonder what gives, what my time really was.

I have to agree. I checked the times on the site and my times are not what they handed me or what the video shows. Heck, they're not even close! But I really don't care about the times. I enjoy giving everyone in my group a ride and making it fun. Actually, of all the years, I got the most compliments about my car and couldn't believe how many people came up to me to say thay really enjoyed watching me drive the most. After those compliments, I really didn't care if I got a $15 plaque.
It would be nice if they can get the timing issues fixed. Heck, I might volunteer next year to help with the timing station.

They have a lot of fixing to do before next year. There were so many issues, that I am surprised that there wasn't a mutiny in the tent. If there would have been the normal 225 entries, the corner workers would have had to use flashlights to mark the cones. Bunch of monkees with a football.

Did anyone hear them talking about getting a day at the airport next year and running drags? Could have sworn I heard that on the PA

Yes, I heard that too Matt. They are trying to get something going at the Hayden airport. That would be fun.

1st - 52.921
2nd - 49.014
3rd - Timing lites screwed up - damn, that was my best run
4th - 48.050 - good enough for 3rd place finish in LSP
5th - 48.482 - ran a bit harder after my previous run and slid around a bit too much
Have to say I had a blast. Tiimes WILL be better next year. Hope timing equipment is better next year.Last edited by Bandit67; 06-21-2011 at 09:46 PM.
