Where does everyone get their numbers from? I don't want to tape mine on again this year. lol

Got mine today. #174, which sucks because everyone knows Parnelli Jones Boss 302 is number 15, which is the number I use on all the tracks. I knew I wasn't going to get #15 because I forgot to sign up on Jan 1st (probably still wouldn't have gotten that low anyway).
I have a guy that I use in Denver for heavy magnetic signs that won't peel off at 125 mph (as high as I've gone so far on track). I pay $40 for the pair. I can give you his number if you want.
If you want to go cheaper, you can get thin magnetic sheets that you can run through your inkjet printer at Staples, Office Depot, etc, but you might want to tape the leading edge of those magnets to be safe you don't lose them (but probably overkill on the autoX course).
Actually, I'm checking with my sign guy to see if I can get a big group of folks to commit, what kind of pricing he'll commit to at what total quantity, so he can do a big run and get us all a discount. He'll get me a price in a couple hours, and I'll post it as soon as I get it.
So if you're interested, post up so I can get an estimated head count. I think we'll start at 12 cars and go from there. Thanks,
Ed

Got mine, #172. Says class O, but I am pretty sure that is for the car show? I assume 172 will be my car # for the Auto X too, (sorry been a few years since I have had my car in the Auto X) It says the rest of the Auto X info will come in May. Does RMMR do a racing class letter also? Or just a car #? (actual Auto X uses numbers and letters for your class)
Ed I may be interested in the magnetic numbers, are they individual or printed in a circle like the ones in you car pic?

Class O is for the car show. 172 is your AutoX number.
We'll do each car number in a circle, oval, etc. Whatever works by concensus, design, & price. Thanks,
Ed
